Jessica is an Associate in the financial services group. She advises clients within the financial services sector including insurance companies, investment funds, investment managers, fund administrators, and public and private sector pension schemes.
Jessica has previously practiced in Australia, where she focused on funds management, financial services regulation and corporate transactions. Her recent experience includes advising a large UK pension scheme on the appointment of a range of service providers, including an investment manager responsible for managing the assets of the entire scheme, acting for a consortium of Swiss pension funds both as purchaser and seller of private infrastructure fund investments, totalling in excess of £300 million across a range of jurisdictions. She also regularly advises local government pension schemes in relation to their proposed investments into managed funds.
Jessica regularly advises on and negotiates subscription terms and fund documentation. She also provides regulatory advice to clients on the application of financial promotion rules to funds and investment managers.
Jessica previously worked as an indirect tax adviser in a global professional services firm. She has been admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland, Australia since December 2018.
