Mohammed is an Associate in our Corporate Finance and Commercial practices, based in our Doha office, focusing primarily on equity capital markets and cross-border corporate transactions.
Mohammed advises regional and international clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, direct listings and private placements in Qatar and across the Middle East.
Mohammed also assists and leads on M&A transactions in the region, leading on the legal due diligence workstreams and contributing to the structuring and execution of transactions. His experience extends to drafting and negotiating key transactional documentation, advising on corporate structuring and restructuring mandates, and supporting clients on regulatory and commercial matters across various sectors.
In addition, Mohammed leads and advises on vessel sale and purchase transactions involving international buyers, sellers, escrow agents, brokers and service providers across multiple jurisdictions and flag states, including the negotiation and preparation of transaction documentation and representation of parties through completion and closing meetings.
Mohammed joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2022, initially working with the corporate structuring and commercial teams in Jordan, before relocating to the firm’s Qatar corporate transactional, commercial and finance team in 2025. His practice focuses on equity capital markets, M&A, corporate finance and commercial matters.

- leading the restructuring of founders' shareholding in a Qatari listed company, involving the transfer of an aggregate 27.5% shareholding interest for a total approximate consideration of QAR 252,300,000, structured on a Murabaha financing basis
- the Majority Shareholders of Snoonu Corporation Holding LLC, on the sale of a 76.56% stake to Jahez International Company for Information System Technology. This cross-border transaction was Qatar’s first tech-startup deal to surpass the QAR 1 billion valuation mark, marking this transaction a significant milestone in the region’s digital economy and is recognised as one of the most high-profile tech exits in Qatar to date
- Al Mahhar Holding Q.P.S.C. on its acquisition of the remaining 49% stake in European Equipment Company W.L.L. through a wholly owned subsidiary, Qatar Welding and Fabrication Supplies (QFAB) W.L.L.
- Al Mahhar Holding Q.P.S.C., on its acquisition of a 90% stake in Gulf Automation System W.L.L (GAS), through a wholly owned subsidiary, Petroleum Technology Company W.L.L (Petrotec)

- advising and assisting a prominent telecommunications company on its acquisition of majority shareholding in a telecommunication tower manufacturing, development, and placement company in MENA
