Dr. Kathrin King is a Principal Associate in the Strategic Contracts team within the Commercial Advisory practice group at Eversheds Sutherland in Munich.
Kathrin specializes in providing legal advice to international and medium-sized companies on all types of commercial contracts within the supply chain. This includes, in particular, drafting and implementing concepts to ensure that her clients' purchasing and sales contracts do not leave any liability gaps. Kathrin also supports her clients in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts as well as with all kinds of questions that may arise during the execution of the contracts - including settlement negotiations or the judicial enforcement of contractual claims in the event of a dispute. Kathrin's advisory practice also includes export law issues as well as transport law contracts and related issues.
As part of a full-service law firm, Kathrin is also happy to draw on the support of her colleagues within the different legal specializations and numerous countries, so that problems from diverse areas of law can be dealt with quickly and efficiently by the respective experts.
Kathrin clients appreciate her pragmatic approach and the fact that she always thinks outside the box when drafting and negotiating contracts.
Kathrin clients are mainly international companies from all sectors of the industry, including the automotive industry, as well as manufacturers and distributors of consumer goods.
During her four-year stay in the United States, Kathrin worked, among other things, as a US lawyer for a US commercial law firm. Before joining Eversheds Sutherland in 2016, she practiced law in a German boutique law firm in the areas of commercial law and intellectual property law.
